1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account and using CareEcho, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

CareEcho is an AI-powered companionship service that places scheduled phone calls to elderly individuals on behalf of their family members or caregivers. The calls are conversational in nature, intended to provide social connection, routine check-ins, and a sense of companionship.

CareEcho is a companionship tool only. It is not a substitute for in-person care, professional caregiving, medical monitoring, or emergency response.

3. Consent Requirement

You must obtain explicit consent from any person before adding their phone number to CareEcho. By adding a contact, you represent and warrant that:

  • The contact has been informed they will receive AI-powered phone calls
  • The contact has agreed to receive these calls
  • You are authorized to act on their behalf in this capacity

CareEcho is not responsible for calls placed without proper consent. You assume full responsibility for obtaining and maintaining consent.

4. Not a Medical Service

CareEcho does not provide medical advice, clinical diagnosis, therapeutic services, or any form of healthcare. The AI conversations, mood scores, and health flags generated by CareEcho are informational only and should not be used as a basis for medical decisions.

If you have concerns about your loved one's health, please consult a qualified medical professional. If there is an emergency, call 911 or local emergency services immediately.

5. Not an Emergency Service

CareEcho is not monitored in real time by human staff. It does not contact emergency services on your behalf. Do not rely on CareEcho to detect or respond to medical emergencies. Set up independent emergency monitoring if your loved one requires it.

6. Beta Service & Availability

CareEcho is currently in public beta. The service is provided free of charge during this period. We make no guarantees about:

  • Uptime or reliability of calls
  • Accuracy or completeness of AI-generated summaries
  • Continuity of the service — it may be modified or discontinued at any time

We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes or service interruptions.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use CareEcho to:

  • Contact individuals without their consent
  • Harass, deceive, or harm any person
  • Impersonate any person or organization
  • Attempt to circumvent security measures or access other users' data
  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose

  • Any harm arising from reliance on the service

9. Account Termination

You may delete your account and deactivate contacts at any time from your dashboard. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
